As the title suggests, today's post is a huge collective haul! This summer I spent a month in Hong Kong meaning I went to town checking out the Asian drugstores and got to finally get my hands on some cosmetics that I'd been eyeing up for a while... let me share with you some of my purchases!
|Tony Moly Peach Hand Cream | Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil | Naive Cleansing Oil | Bifesta Cleansing Wash | Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Cleansing Oil|
HK is pretty much renowned for having amazing skincare so I decided to stock up on some skincare essentials. The Shu Uemura cleansing oil is one of my all time favourites and is slightly cheaper too. I decided to pick up another 2 cleansing oils from Sasa to see how they compare - most likely I will be doing some reviews comparing these so keep your eyes peeled. The bifesta cleansing wash was promoted everywhere so I bought it to see what the fuss was about. Lastly the Tony Moly peach hand cream smells absolutely divine! I'll be storing this in my handbag.
|D&G Light Blue | Biore UV milk SPf50+| Biore Aqua Rich SPF 50+|
In duty free I picked up D&G's Light Blue - I'd been meaning to try this out for absolutely ages so finally I'm happy to be able to add this to my collection. Its a lovely fresh, clean smelling fragrance which I really enjoyed wearing whilst on holiday. I stocked up on Biore's UV products since they aren't as readily available in the UK. The Aqua Rich UV base deserves a review post since it is absolutely amazing! Non greasy and fast absorbing - thumbs up!
|Nicole by OPI in Stars at Night | Revlon Whimsical | Maybelline Pure UV Mineral Powder | Ellefar Hanataka Powder | Pencil sharpener|
I couldn't resist picking up 2 nail polishes - the Nicole by OPI polish isn't available in the UK (at least I haven't seen it before!) so I decided to pick it up. Likewise I've never seen Revlon Whimsical before - the formulation and texture reminds me of Facets of Fuchsia - no doubt there will be an upcoming nail post featuring these. For extra UV protection I wanted to try out the Maybelline UV powder - again, review coming soon! The highlighting powder was really affordable so I wanted to try it out and the sharpener was just a necessity.
Here are a load of eye liners, liquid liners and eye brow pencils that I picked up during my month long stay. I had to try out the 24 hour K Palette liquid liner that everyone and their mother seems to be raving about, my gosh is it worth the hype - hands down the best liquid liner I have used. Dollywink was another brand I was eager to try out, I haven't yet tried out the eyeliners yet but again, I'll do a review when I have. The eyebrow pencils are a mixed bag, I wanted to try out a variety of colours so some are good, some aren't so great. I purchased a white and brown version of the Docile eyeliner pen - these are awesome twist up eyeliner crayons which I have really been enjoying to use.
Lastly here are all the eyelashes that I purchased :D. I love false lashes for special occasions or nights out so I definitely knew I'd be stocking up whilst in HK. HK has such a wide variety of false lashes at such affordable prices - I'm certain I won't need to be buying lashes any time soon!! The last picture is a box that I purchased from Daiso. I think its meant to be used to store beads but I thought it would be perfect for storing eyelashes. I don't actually re-use my eyelashes but I thought having this box would mean I have the option to safely store them away if I wanted to get a few more uses out of them :)
That is all for my beauty haul! Let me know which products you'd like me to review first and I'll add them to the top of my list :).
What are your top products to purchase when at duty free/ on holiday? Are you as much of a false eyelash fanatic as me?
